Overview
The Financial Markets Act (Act no. 19 of 2012) provides for the regulation of the financial markets in South Africa. The course provides a brief introduction to the Act and thereafter considers the requirements and responsibilities imposed on the role-players regulated in terms of the Act. The course concludes by considering the stipulations to prevent market abuse and insider trading.
